Worst publicity for software, ever
I'm still lacking words on this one. It just hurts.
Source: I've taken this screenshot several years ago at the Winamp forums. And believe it or not, it's still there :)
Could you be more specific?
Something's wrong, somewhere.

Vista's Awesome Disk Cache
So, it looks like the code monkeys at Microsoft finally realized how to implement an efficient disk cache: Just fill up all the physical memory until everything else gets swapped to disk and the system grinds to a screeching halt.
Please let me know where to send my complimentary crate of poisoned delicious bananas.

And I thought 3.4/10 on Space Buddies was low.... Disney has now officially hit the point of no return ;)

Something different this time:
Gotta point out that lame commercial excuse of Visual Basic .net software at www.video-download-capture.com. It's using a version of ffmpeg (ffmpeg.exe, see www.ffmpeg.org) renamed to ApowersoftC.exe ('C' as in converter) without providing any kind of license.txt or even mentioning the respectable ffmpeg project anywhere.
Background: There's much of a chance that ffmpeg - with their crazy code monkeys - or likely ffdshow is also the driving force behind your daily video watching pleasure. And it's not right to just take, then rename it to make it look like part of the product, and build commercial junk around it without saying a word.
At the end of the day this is another epic FAIL.

Linux Users Fail
"The Manpage Show, Your host: Ben Stein" lol
For those who don't have a clue: Manual pages are documentation pages for certain commands commonly used on Unix operating systems.
So this is how *nix users actually look like? Nah, that's how Ben Stein looks like ;)
This is how *nix users actually look like:
The one on the left... look. Maybe Stein didn't get it too wrong after all :)

Localization Fail
Occured during the setup of a game called "American McGee's Alice".
When it asks the user to enter the serial number what it really says translates to something like "Please enter your product alignment". Finishing up with a checkbox that translates to "I'd like to American McGee register now!". Sometimes localization should be omitted ;)

Competence Fail
Found on a German website providing web development services. The title bar would translate to something like "The comptens in web related topics". Glad Macrodedia doesn't have to see this.
Some more horrible German grammar. And I haven't seen this many typos at once in a while, honestly. Just hope these guys never get a job again, ever.

Humanity Fail
Found on a disgusting german website going by the translated name of "kids need meat" that offers you to order animal parts online. For $2 the pig's brain is all yours. Or well, the pig's head? Or maybe both? Sure these can be combined somehow for funny games at work?
